A small crew gathered today to tend the garden. Our through watering last week paid off. The garden is really taking off! We did more watering and a bit of weeding. We tied up some grape vines and pinched suckers from our vigorous tomato plants. We have lots of tomatoes, grapes, and blueberries yielding fruit. I even noticed a baby cucumber!
Our community garden is a place for students, parents, and community members to learn about topics such as sustainability, nutrition, science, critical thinking, collaboration, and more. Our garden is part of a network that benefits our local community and supports other garden efforts across the globe.
